When traveling, we drive through cities that are full of beautiful flower baskets, flower pots, and flower beds. We love to stop in and visit these towns. By appearance alone they look like they have something wonderful to offer. It makes me wonder what it looks like we have to offer? I love our city. Ontario is our home, but let's face it, we could use a little sprucing up! We believe that by beautifying our city we will draw business into our city as well as make Ontario a destination spot! Let's beautify our city together!
The plan: Phase 1 is complete! You may have noticed 26 pots on S. Oregon St. this past year! The plan is to keep spreading these pots throughout the city- on SW 4th Ave (from HWY 201 to S. Oregon St.), then down Idaho Ave from S. Oregon St. to the Snake River bridge! Can you imagine how beautiful that will make Ontario!?
How it works: After the pots are initially purchased and placed, businesses and/or individuals can 'Adopt-a-Pot'. Adopting a pot means that the business/person would pay a one season donation that would cover the plants and materials needed to plant that pot for an ENTIRE year (including winter plantings!). The adoptee's name will be put on a plaque that will be placed in the pot for that year.

Cost: *$250 for the entire year! This includes all plant materials, maintenance and care! (*Price is a very close estimate at this time. Exact cost will depend on any inflation in plant/supply costs.)
